　　My hometown is Guiyang, a small city in Southwest China, surrounded by rolling green mountains. A river runs through it, with locust trees lining along both banks. In Summer there will be little boats floating on the river, the laughter of children resonating with the sound of the running water.

　　我们走在林间小路上，到处都是千年古树，清爽凉快，走完小路，我们就走陡峭的石阶，我们走走停停，但我仍旧十分劳累，有些泻气了，但我又想：登山不畏难，畏难不登山。都已经到这了，怎么能就这样放弃呢？想到这，我又鼓足勇气，继续攀登高峰。功夫不负有心人，我们一行人终于登上高峰！从山上俯视，只见绿漫峰峦，峭壁如削，雾蔼蒙蒙，山下的景物一览无余。突然，一阵风迎面吹来，山下酷热难当，而山上却清凉如秋。在这海拔725。5米的高峰上，我们合影留念，大人小孩开心的笑声溢满了整个山谷。
