我的英语老师姓石，我们都叫她石老师，课堂上我们叫她misss石。石老师高高的个子，苗条的身材，长着瓜子脸，大大的眼睛，高高的鼻梁，十分漂亮。每到秋冬季，石老师就穿着羊毛大衣，再配上可以盖住小腿的长靴，真的很漂亮。
石老师性格非常开朗，我们一有不会的难题，她就让我们一起讨论，还喜欢把讨论的分析结果讲给我们听，为我们以后的英语学习打下了基础。此外，石老师还很喜欢在手机上和老师，朋友们一起推荐好书，相互传递知识，空闲时间就在办公室里看老师朋友那里推荐的书。
石老师对我们要求十分严格，每次交作业时，我们的作业都交不齐，为此她大发雷霆，我们只是低着头耸着肩，一副生怕被老师发现的样子，每次老师在黑板上写字时，我们就在下面小心翼翼的'说话，石老师为此火冒三丈，我知道老师也是为了我们好，我每次都认真听讲。
一次，我路过老师的办公室时，老师正认真地备课，我感受到了老师备课是多么辛苦，多么认真，它真是我们的好老师。以后我要好好听老师的话，努力学好英语。

说起比赛,从小到大我参加过许多项目，其中让我印象最深刻的一次是四年级代表班参加英语说故事比赛,当时被老师选上的心情真是雀跃不已。
比赛的日子一天天的来临，每当妈妈要我多练习时,我总是漫不经心,认为短短三分钟的故事对我来说非常容易，根本不用花太多时间练习。直到预演时，站在讲台上结结巴巴、脑中一片空白时才知大事不妙。回家后，开始进行魔鬼般的训练，不论是洗澡、吃饭甚至走在路上，我的'口中总是念念有词。直到比赛前一晚，我还希望明天发生超级强烈台风，这样就有多一天台风假的时间可以准备。但是,天不从人愿，比赛当天是个大晴天和我忐忑不安的心情正好相反。
比赛时,我抽到一号， 连害怕的时间都没有就要准备上场了，说也奇怪，不知哪来的神秘力量?我竟能朗朗上口，顺利的把故事说完。原以为两脚发抖、忘词的情节，竟然幸运的都没有发生在我身上。下台后,回到自己的座位上，专心聆听其他选手的表演，有的人紧张得四肢僵硬、脸色发白，有的人表演得生动活泼、令人不禁赞赏!公布名次的时刻终于来了，很侥倖的我得到第三名，真是兴奋极了!
有了这次的经验，不但让可以学习到其选手的优点，也深深体会到“胜利是留给有充分准备的人”。如果当时我没有下定决心急起直追、努力准备，也无法享受得到好成绩的喜悦!下次的比赛，得要及早准备,才不会临时抱佛脚，错失成功的机会!
