　　Days before the festival, people clean their houses. They think cleaning sweeps any bad luck. They decorate their houses with paper cuts. On the eve of the festival, family members get together and have big meals. Then they watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. At midnight, they set off fireworks to welcome the new year. During the festival, kids get lucky money from old people. People visit their relatives and friends. They wish each a happy year and good luck. How happy we are.

　　Case refers to using the right pronoun for the right job. The three main cases for pronouns are the subjective case, the objective cases, and the possessive case. You must use the appropriate pronoun for the function the pronoun has in the sentence. Objective pronouns like me cannot be used as the subject of a sentence, and subject pronouns like I cannot be used as the objects of prepositions or as direct/indirect objects in a sentence. Always check your sentences carefully to be certain you have used the correct pronoun in the sentence for the function you have given the pronoun.

　　别看MissLiu才27岁，可她教英语却是一流的，而且也从不体罚、打骂学生，除非对那五个不及格有点“特殊”待遇，但也不是打他们，而对他们进行开“小灶”。

　　Ok，介绍完了MissLiu，就来说说我们的英语课吧。

　　MissLiu有个特点，就是在上课前都会叫几位后进生到讲台前表演前一天学的课文，然后再叫他们说说自己是否掌握了课文的重点内容，最后，才开始讲当天的知识。她在讲句型时，最喜欢用幽默的方式来讲讲自己的故事。就说说上次讲第7课的一般过去式吧。只听她说：“昨天，我去了西安，看了一场电影，然后吃了一顿KFC，最后，买了一些衣服坐车回家了。当讲完这个故事时，她让我们看了看课文，又给我们勾出了一些动词的过去式，我们看了以后，惊讶极了，她所勾的.动词过去式都在刚才说的故事里了，太不可思议了。随后，她又在黑板上出示了“问”、“答”等一些动词和他们的过去式，让我们练习说句子。我造了一个：一个老师问一个学生题目，让他回答的句子。她听后，对我说：“Verygood！”当我们学完了课文以后，她叫我们一个接着一个说过去式单词，如果说不出来就要造一个过去式的句子，算是惩罚吧。这个游戏既让我们对知识做了一个总结，又让我们放松了一下，真是一个两全其美的方法。Ilikeit.

　　英语课上，蒋老师正眉飞色舞地讲着课，临下课前，她对我们说：“明天英语要小测验，课后请大家认真复习。”“啊？”那些英语成绩不好的同学都叫苦不迭，而我和几个英语成绩非常好的同学都高兴不已，英语考试不是手到擒来的事嘛。

　　回到家，我把书包往沙发一扔，以最快的速度把作业写完，拿出电脑，看起了动画片，玩得不亦乐乎。晚上，妈妈回来了，我对她自信满满地说：“明天英语测试，一百分稳拿了。”妈妈以为我已经复习完了，就带我到小区散步去了。

　　第二天的英语课，老师一把试卷发下来，我就“唰唰唰”地写起来。我发现这些题都是我做过的，题目还没读完，我就开始答题，不一会儿就写完了。我开始东张西望，发现其他同学都还没写完呢，我得意了起来，竟忘了检查。“张琼月，你做完了就交卷吧。”蒋老师温和地说道。于是，我在众目睽睽之下，得意地昂着头，交了试卷。没过一会，蒋老师轻声对我说：“下课后去我办公室一趟。”

　　“叮铃铃”下课的铃声响了，我来到了蒋老师办公室，“老师，有什么事吗？”蒋老师严肃地对我说：“看看你的试卷吧。”说完，她把试卷递给我。我一下子看到了鲜红的分数“90分”，“天呐！这是怎么回事？”蒋老师又严厉地对我说：“你知道为什么考不好吗？因为你没有仔细读题，更没有认真检查，你太骄傲了。”听了老师的.话，我羞愧地低下了头。

　　走出老师办公室，我分析了这次考试失利的原因：我太骄傲了，没有认真对待这次测试。“谦虚使人进步，骄傲使人落后”，我不由想到了这句至理名言，吸取了这次教训，这句话也深深地记在了我的心里。
