　　在过去的几周里，我在努力的和星吧阁的多数学生家长们进行交谈。大家交流中不断提及的话题之一，就是在家中创造英文环境的问题。如今我们都听说过一些方法，比如观看英文电影、听英文歌曲等，但说起另一方法——用英文和他们的孩子对话，绝大多数的中国家长都不敢尝试。主要原因，就是担心他们这样做会在某种程度上对孩子的外语学习造成不良的影响。家长们的担心包括:

　　在我和家长们开始谈到讲英语的时候，我发现用一个简单的比喻来解释效果不错。如果您的孩子想学打篮球，您可以在开始的时候教他学习如何抓球。然后，教他如何弹球，以及投篮。之后，您可以教他篮球的游戏规则，甚至和孩子一起玩一下。所有这些您教的基本技能，都是孩子要打篮球比赛所必需的核心条件。一旦学习掌握并加以实践，他就可以和其他孩子一起玩耍，同时提高自身的技能。当和其他的孩子一起游戏的时候，通过观摩其他的孩子，您的孩子会通过学习他人的玩法，来形成自己的游戏策略，甚至会开始对自己的技法进行创新。当他从练习中以及对失误的总结学习中表现越来越好的时候，他就有可能在篮球技能上超越您。

　　所以，我们的首要目标，应该是实现英文表达的.流畅度，而非完美程度。让我问您一个问题：您宁愿自己的孩子能够流利的讲英语呢，还是能够准确完美的说英文，但是磕磕巴巴？学习英语，是学习一种技能，而技能的掌握，是在不断的犯错和纠正中获得的。这中间需要很多的练习和指导，而孩子们在沿途沾染一些错误的习惯，也不足为奇。但是，如果他们不从基本的表达技能学起，不开始积极参与这一语言游戏，要做到有朝一日流畅的说英文，是不可能的。
