My first impression of Beijing was that it was big and lively. Along the way, the three of us cheered each other and finally achieved our wish to climb the highest peak of the Great Wall! At that moment, we cheered excitedly and loudly. Standing on the top of the Great Wall and looking down, the Great Wall is like a giant dragon lying on the land of China, how magnificent it is! I am truly impressed by the diligence and wisdom of my ancestors!

去年暑假，妈妈带着我和哥哥一起去旅行，我们乘坐火车来到了我向往已久的首都——北京。
北京的交通真是太方便啦！乘坐各路地铁可是我的乐趣所在，从开始的陌生到后来的轻车熟路，我玩得真是不亦乐乎啊！
我们愉快地游玩在北京的各大名胜古迹，穿梭于北京的各条大街小巷，还品尝了北京的著名特色小吃。
其中，我印象最深的是去长城游玩。我们带着旅游地图，还寻求了很多路人的帮助，最终好不容易才来到了长城脚下。这里的游客真多呀！我们排了好长时间的队才买到了票。
开始登长城了，这里的'道路非常地难走。我们走了好长时间，累得气喘吁吁。特别是那些台阶：有的长、有的短、有的高、有的矮，而且路还是歪歪扭扭的。走了一半，我就不想走了，坐在旁边的台阶上不停地喘着粗气。这时，妈妈拍了拍我的肩，对我说：“怎么了？不会这点儿小困难就把我们家的男子汉给吓到了吧？这可不是真正的男子汉哦！”听妈妈这么一说，我一下子来了劲儿，爬起来继续往前走。一路上，我们三个人相互鼓劲，终于如愿以偿地登上了长城的最高峰！那一刻，我们兴奋地高声欢呼。站在长城顶上向下望去，长城就像一条巨龙卧在神州大地上，多么气势磅礴啊！对于祖先们的勤劳和智慧，我真是佩服地五体投地！
