On March 8th, 1975, the United Nation started to celebrate the International Women’s Day. In China, the women’s day also called “March 8th”day. Why we celebrate women’s day? There is a long story.
Women’s Union of Chicago demonstrated against the inequality between men and women. They demanded that they should have the same payments, the same working hours as men had, and they should have the rights to vote. They even put forward a slogan: Bread and Rose, which stood for equal payment and a better living standard. This demonstrated had caused international attention to the women’s rights. A year later, a critical meeting was held in Demark, in order to promote the women’s liberation and equal rights, the council members decided to establish the Women’s Day on March 8th. Then March 8th, 1911 just became the first Women’s day.

He has been working on agriculture education & the research into hybrid rice since he left the institute. In the 1960s, when China was suffering serious famine, he came up with the idea of hybrid rice, which has a high yield. Ten years later, he succeeded in inventing a new species that produced a 20 percent higher yield than common types of rice. Yuan devoted himself to the research into agriculture, & was honored by UNESCO & FAO. Although he is 70 years old, he is still working on the research into agriculture.

If they find me do the same wrong thing again and again, they will criticize me badly, which makes me do not dare to do it next time. And nobody will speak for me.

看到这个题目，你一定会感到很奇怪，难道你以前不喜欢英语吗？我的回答是：Yes。
在三年级的时候，我们的课程表中多了一个英语课，我对它产生了浓厚的好奇，恨不得立刻就上一堂英语课。总算，盼来了第一堂英语课，英语课并没有我想象的妙趣横生，而是枯燥无味：没有欢笑，而是痛苦；没有互动，只有一排排 轮流朗读。我厌烦了英语课，但还是努力听课，把单词牢牢记在脑子里，尽量上课多举手发言，成绩还可以。
四年级了，要听写单词了，老师让我们死记硬背记住单词，在脑子里印下印子，可我一向喜欢快乐学英语，原本我已经不喜欢了，现在还要背单词，我就对英语没了兴趣，成绩有些下降了，期末考试只考了92分。这可急坏了爸爸妈妈，英语是很重要的。
这个想法就在四年级下册刚开学被破解了。
四年级下册了，爸爸给我报了英语兴趣班，我起先死活也不愿意去，父命不可违呀！我还是勉强去听了一节课，听了一节课之后，我立刻答应了，因为他们那里的.老师教学方法很好，在他们那里学习好快乐，我很喜欢那里。
那里的老师上课总是微笑着，讲话也很幽默。比如批评一个同学没做家作，那个老师不是说，而是唱：“你怎么，可以，把家作，忘了，呢？”唱着唱着，还假装晕了过去，可还是唱着：“你，你，你，你，你，气……死我了……”弄得他面红耳赤，我们笑得好开心，老师的演技太好了。我们的老师叫Amy，我很喜欢她，她使我对英语产生了兴趣，我背英语单词简单了许多，记住也很快，成绩逐渐提高了，我真开心！
原来，要提高英语成绩并不难，要看有没有兴趣。
