My mother is a senior high school English teacher. Under standably， she wanted her daughter to pick up English early to give her an edge to later study， which I did not understand at the age of eight. I was so obsessed with fun and games that I hated to stay peacefully with all those strange phonetic symbols and odd words. I wondered what pleasure Mother seemed to have found in teaching me A，B， C. Wasn't teaching at school tire some enough for her？ I went on strike， refusing to spell a single word no matter how tender or severe Mother tried to be with me. For the first time in my life， Mother beat me， imprinting on my mind. The physical pain was gone long， long ago. But I have finally come to understand how it pained my mother to beat me for my obstinacy and disobedience， and I ache at her pain.

爸爸的爱好很广泛，尤其热爱英语。有一次，我正在房间里大声朗读英语，不知什么时候爸爸突然冒了出来，说：“英语真的很好听啊，真不愧是******用语言，我也来学一学，要不然就落伍了。”于是，爸爸就让我当他的“英语老师”，虚心地问我应该怎么读。刚一开始，爸爸读得很难听，就像外星人说话似地，可能连外星人都听不懂吧。可爸爸没有被困难吓倒，天天早晨早起二十分钟，一边听磁带，一边大声朗读。过了一段时间，在我和爸爸的艰苦努力下，爸爸的.英语终于有了很大的进步。
老爸学习英语有一个最大的困难，就是容易遗忘。为了记住更多的英语单词，老爸苦思冥想，终于想到了一个好办法，他几乎把家里所有的东西上都贴满了纸条，纸条上写着相应的英语单词。这样，老爸在拿什么东西的时候，就会把这个单词念出来。长时间后，老爸果然记住了很多单词。

我3岁时就在吉的堡跟外教学英语。后来又在天津跟外教学《新概念》（青少版），算起来有八年了。最大的收获不仅是学到了知识，更是收获到了快乐。
Emmanu老师黑黑的皮肤，胖胖的身材，虽然是光头，有时还是能看出他的`头发是棕色的。圆溜溜的大眼睛上面有两道粗粗的黑眉，厚厚的嘴唇，不论是说话还是笑，总会露一排洁白的牙齿，黑白分明，特别耀眼。每次上课他总是亲热用中文叫我“小妹妹”，“你好”，我调皮的叫他“巧克力”。他也不反感，还愉快的答应。
“巧克力”讲课总是手舞足蹈。他用眼神，他用表情，加上肢体动作，把课证的既风、趣又生动。我们会扮演课中人物或动物的角色，互相问答。每当这时，课堂就非常活跃。答对时就会有一阵掌声，这是我们最开心的时候。
我们常常摇晃着阔大朗读单词、课文。舒舒服服地渡过了2个小时。课上讲的单词、句子和语法，不知为什么，很快就记住了。
经过几年不断的学习和积累，我听和说的能力提高了很多，同学和老师都说我发音标准很好听。在小学英语考级中都是优秀。在天津市小学英语竞赛中，班里只有我进入了决赛，但跪遗撼的是我回到哈市上学，不能参加。
跟“巧克力”学英语，学到了知识，获得了放松的快乐；无忧无虑地快乐；成功的快乐；难以忘怀的快乐。
