late用法：
1、late是副词，that year是时间名词（副词用法，之前省略介词），修饰late。类似的表达：early in the morning，late in the afternoon等，是“大范围时间”，而late则是这个大范围时间内的'一个具体时间。
2、这种结构可以延伸答到地点状语，例如：here in the room,there on the sea，都是介词短语修饰前面的副词。
3、that year之前不加介词。语法规定：时间名词前有了this,that,last,next,every等修饰时，不加任何介词。
