Language points:
1.The Greek language: The word gymnos means naked in
Greek, as athletes and gymnasts didn’t wear any clothes.
Gym is short for gymnastics and also is the word for the
building in which people practise gymnastics.

being performed 是动词-ing 形式的被动语态,作定语
-ing 形式的被动语态是由 “being+done” 构成,
eg. being shown/being repaired/being built
①The houses being built by our company will be completed soon.
②The prices of the computers being shown here are
still unknown. -ing 形式的被动语态除了作定语外也可以用作其它成分.
①He didn’t mind being left at home.
②He came here without being asked.
③Being lost can be a terrifying experience.
④At the beginning of school the noise of desks being
opened and closed could be heard out in the street.

highly adv. in or to a high degree “高度的,” “非常的”
