学习名词所有格
名词的所有格
在英语中有些名词后可加's来表示所有关系，这种形式称为该名词的所有格。如：
Jim's father吉姆的父亲，the girl's name这个女孩的名字
名词的所有格一般用于有生命的名词。表示无生命的名词的所有关系，
常用of构成的介词短语来表示。如：
a map of China一张中国地图，a picture of our school 一张我们学校的图片。
【例1】用英语完成句子，每空一词。
The football is under ① ② (她弟弟的)table.
精析：该题要考查物主代词及名词的所有格形式。
①汉语“她弟弟的”真正含义为“她的弟弟的”故用形容词性物主代词her，而不能用人称代词she；
②表示事物的所有关系，有生命的名词常用名词的所有格表示，即在该名词后+'s的形式，故此处“弟弟的”应用“brother's”来表示。
解答：①her ②brother's
【例2】改错
误：Li Ping's sweater is on the his bed.
正：Li Ping's sweater is on his bed.
误：These are the our desks.
正：These are our desks.
精析：名词前若已有限定词(this，that，these，those)，形容词性物主代词(my，your，his，her，its，their，our)和表示人名的所有格(如Jim's，Lucy's等)，此名词前不能再出现冠词a，an和the。
四. 学习祈使句.
1. Please sit down over there. 请坐在那边。
这是一个祈使句。它表示说话人请求或命令对方做某事。从句型上看没有主语，实际上主语是“you”是指听话的“人”。please意思是“请”，表示说话的人比较客气。它的位置可以在句首，也可以在句末。在句子末尾时，please前要加逗号。例如：
上句可以改写为：Sit down over there, please.
本单元还有 Please look after the twins today.
Put them here. 都是祈使句。
2. Jim介绍李雷时说的 Dad，this is Li Lei. Li Lei，this is my father不可以说成 Li Lei, this is my father. Dad, this is Li Lei?
在英语中，介绍别人时应该先把晚辈介绍给长辈，先把男同志介绍给女同志，先把地位低的介绍给地位高的。在这课中，李雷是晚辈，所以应先把李雷介绍给吉姆的爸爸。
3. look like 与look the same意思上差不多，但用法上有区别
look like的意思是“看起来像……”，look the same的意思是“看起来一样”。look like的用法是A+look like+B；look the same 的用法是A and B+look the same。
例：You look like your mother.
你看起来很像你的妈妈。
Ben and Tom look the same.
本和汤姆看起来很像。
4. Please have a seat 等于 Sit down， please
它们意思相同，都是“请坐”的意思。 Have a seat， please 比Please sit down更常用， Be seated也可以表示请坐的意思，但是它比Please sit down更礼貌。have a seat还可以说成 take a seat。
5. Uncle John是什么用法
在英语中，uncle和aunt在使用时常常在后面加上the first name。如Jane White中的 Jane，这时 uncle， aunt常常大写第一个字母。
