1. Have you got ...? "你有......吗?"
习惯上将have got用做have的口语化形式，意思是"拥有"。而美国人常用Do you have ...? 句型来表示同样的意思。
①-Have you got /Do you have a new bike?你有一辆新自行车吗?
-Yes, I have. / Yes, I do. 是的，我有。
2. make+n./pron.+adj."使某人/某物怎么样"，形容词在此作宾补。
We should make our world more beautiful.我们应该使我们的世界更美丽。
3. What's ... like? "......怎么样?"
What's the weather like today?今天天气怎么样?
4. show sb. how to do sth. "示范给某人如何做某事"
I'll show you how to search the Internet.我会示范给你如何搜索因特网。
5. find ... doing ... "发现......在做某事"
I found the cat running after a ball.我发现那只猫在追球。
6. It's such great fun."(冲浪)如此有趣。"
such修饰名词时，其中名词可以是单数、复数及不可数形式，与so用法不同。试比较：
He is such a tall man. /He is so tall a man.他是个如此高的男子。
7. Isn't he with you today? "他今天没和你在一起吗?"
本句是否定疑问句，用于反问，表示惊奇、遗憾、愤怒等。
Don't you like ice cream?你不喜欢吃冰淇淋吗?
8.not only ... but also ... "不但......而且......"连接两个并列成份。
连接两个主语时谓语动词要和but also后面的主语的人称和数保持一致。其中also可以省略。
Not only he but（also） his friends are very kind to me.不仅仅他，就连他的朋友们对我也很好。
Her name is known not only in Japan, but (also) in China.她不仅在日本出名，而且在中国也出名。
9. It's one's duty to ... "干......是某人的责任。"
It's your duty to work hard.努力工作是你的职责。
10. the+比较级, the+比较级 表示"越......，越......"
The more you eat, the fatter you will be.你吃得越多就会越胖。
11. need to do sth. "需要做某事"
We need to take more exercise.我们需要多进行锻炼。
12. That's very kind of you."你真是太好了。"
That very kind/nice of him to tell me the good news.他真是太好了，告诉我这个好消息。
13. teach sb. how to do sth. "教某人如何做某事"
Mother taught me how to make a dress.妈妈教我怎样做衣服。
14. A is in/on/to+ the+方位词+ of+ B. 表示地点A与地点B的位置关系。
介词in表示A在B范围内；on表示两地相邻相接；to表示两地相隔。
Heilongjiang is in the northeast of China.黑龙江在中国的东北部。
Shandong is on the north of Anhui.山东在安徽的北面。
Japan is to the east of China.日本在中国的东面。
15. sth. costs sb.+金钱等，表示"某物花费某人......"
The car will cost you 5，000 dollars.这部汽车要花费你5，000美元。
16. whether ... or not"无论, 不管"，相当于no matter if。
Whether it's fine or not, I'll go to Shanghai tomorrow.无论天气好坏，明天我都要去上海。
17. allow sb. to do sth. "允许某人做某事"
His father allows him to watch TV for half an hour every day.他父亲允许他每天看半小时电视。
18. decide to do sth."决定做某事",相当于make up one's mind to do sth.。
In the end she decided to buy the red hat.最后她决定买那顶红色的帽子。
19. It is said ..."据说......"
It is said that he is a miser.据说他是个小气鬼。
