　　Today is Arbor-Day.Our school arranged us to go to the near hills to plant trees.

　　We start atseven o’clock in the morning. It took us half an hour to get to thedestination.

　　The moment we arrived, we began to work as arranged before.

　　Some dugholes, some put trees in the hole, some put the earth back to the hole, whileothers watered the trees.

　　When we planted all the trees, it’s already one o’clockin the afternoon. We were all hungry and tired but happy and proud.

　　今天是植树节。我们学校安排我们去附近的山上植树。我们上午七点就开始出发了。

　　我们花了半个小时才到达目的地。我们到达那里，我们就像之前安排好的那样开始工作了。

　　有的挖坑，有的放树进坑里，有的把土放回坑了，而其他人则给树浇水。

　　我们种完所有的树时，已经是下午一点了。我们都饿了、累了但是都很高兴和自豪。

　　Today is the day of reunion of our elementary school class. We made an appointment a week ago that we would go back to our elementary school. About nine o’clock, we all got to the school gate. The guard asked what we are going to do, and we answered that we just want to walk around in the campus. He let us enter. I felt so familiar and warm when I entered the campus. Something has changed, but many are the same. We went to the classrooms we once stayed. There were many memories in them. I could clearly remember where my seat was. Life in primary school is relaxed and interesting. We had many time to have fun, and our classmates always played together. I miss the life in primary school every much, which is the most beautiful and unforgettable memories in my mind.今天是小学同学聚会的日子。一周前我们就越好了要重回母校。大约九点的时候所有人都到达校门口。门卫问我们要去干嘛，我们回答说我们只是想到校园走走，于是他就让我们进去了。当我踏入校园的时候一种熟悉而又温暖的感觉油然而生。虽然有些东西改变了，但是很多还是原来的样子。我们去到曾经呆过的教室，那里有很多的回忆，我能够清楚的'记得我的位置在哪。小学的生活轻松而有趣，我们有很多的时间玩耍，同学们经常一起玩。我特别怀念小学的生活，那是我脑海里美好而又难忘的一段回忆。

For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

　　In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited 初二; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

　　Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

　　Nowadays the newspaper possesses considerable value Everybody should read it。 It supplies us with a variety of news every day。 It tells us the political situation of the world。 If we form the habit of reading the newspaper， we shall (will) get enough knowledge to cope with our circumstances。

　　现今报纸拥有极大的价值，人人都应该看它。它每天提供我们各种类类的消息。它告诉我们世界政治局势。如果我们养成看报的习惯，我们就能得到足够的知识来因应我们的环境。

　　学生虽然每天须做功课，但他们至少应该匀出一两个小时来看报。哪些，他们不但能增加知识而且也能赶上时代。总而言之，看报对学生很有益处。

　　第二天：MY DAILY LIFE 我的日常生活

　　Though my daily life is extremely monotonous， I try hard to adapt myself to it。 Why? Because I intend to be a good student。 I wish to render service to my country。

　　I get up at six o’clock every day。 After I wash my face and brush my teeth， I begin to review my lessons。 I go to school at seven o’clock。

　　After school is over， I return home。 We usually have supper at seven o’clock。then I begin to do my homework。 I want to finish it before I go to bed。

　　First， health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness)。 Only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life。

　　Secondly， happiness consists in contentment。 A man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress。
