This winter holiday， I went to Kunming with my family。 Kunming is a very beautiful city， I think。 The sky is blue and the air is clean。 You can see many kinds of nice flowers everywhere。 The weather there is great。 Its never too hot or too cold all the year round， so people always call it Spring City。
Kunming is surrounded by beautiful scenery。 And one of the most famous views is The Stone Forest。 It is really scenic。
We just stayed in Kunming for six days， but I felt very happy， and I like Kunming very much。

她是一个衣着简朴的人，一个学期就那么几件衣服轮换着穿，就在假期中我见到她也是这样。她走起路来腰挺的很直，虽然没有其它老师那样年轻，但仍显得很精神。
从上学期开始，班里便开始流行这样一句话“Mary使我快乐”！起初只是谁随便说说，但因为她好像没有制止，这句话便开始肆意传播，最后好像还出现了一个“Mary教”，不提。
她在上课时，尤其注重纪律，课堂稍微有点乱，她便会停下来整顿纪律，此时，她就会做一件经常性的事件——讲道理。这时，那些原本对英语就没有兴趣的.同学，变得更加昏昏欲睡。有时候，一节课下来，她的讲道理就占了近半节课。
她是一个对工作极其负责的人。上学期有段时间班主任不在，由她来代替。那几天里，她来得格外早，七点十分就在教室监察早读，她说我们收作业速度太慢，还让我参观其他班级的早读，再去和我们班的做对比，也是想让我们看看自己班有多乱。
她是一个尽职尽责的老师。基本上每次英语下课，她就被“包围”了起来，有的是问题的，有的是找她背课文的，很多时候，她能忙到下节课铃响才“恋恋不舍”地离开。她忙得不亦乐乎。她把教书育人看做是一件人生的大事，她愿意将自己的知识毫无保留的传授给学生，与学生一起探讨问题。这便是她眼中的快乐吧！

现代人眼界开阔，把全球看作地球村，把全世界的人都看成是朋友，长大后还要与外国朋友交流。作为一个中国人，不仅要懂中文，还要懂外语。而我的英语水平不大好，所以，爸爸、妈妈商量，利用暑假让我到卓越英语补习。
无论做什么事，兴趣最重要，如果没有兴趣，就会事倍功半。学英语也一样，有兴趣才会学得好。妈妈带我到了卓越英语，先让我试读一下，看看有没有兴趣。上课了，一位年轻的老师走进教室，先让我们听一首叫《丑小鸭》的英语歌，一边播放音乐，一边表演，挺有意思的。老师教的内容其实就是歌里唱的内容。我目不转睛地盯着老师的一举一动，两节课学得很专心，也很有兴趣。于是，妈妈帮我报了名，我便成了卓越英语的一员。
我被编入B31班，学习《英语语音过关》。教我们这一班的是曾老师，国字脸，鼻梁上架着一副近视眼镜。他总让我们在快乐中学习知识，我们都很喜欢他。同时，我还认识了两类同学，一类是吵吵闹闹、爱开小差的捣蛋鬼，另一类是安安静静、用心学习的'好学生。在卓越英语，每个同学都有自己的英文名字，我的英文名字叫Tony（托尼），可大家都叫我“掏泥”。
在卓越英语，我学得很努力，老师一教我就懂，字写得也不错，老师经常夸我。但我记性不大好，有时候举起手来想发言，却不知道说什么。我想，这是基础不扎实的缘故，还得多下功夫。
于是，我不仅在学校里学，还在家里学。老师发给我们每人两张《英语语音过关》碟片，让我们在家里听。下午和晚上家里的台式电脑被姐姐“统治”着，所以，我每天早上很早起来听碟片读英语。每天放学回家，都要进行巩固，攻守并进。我的家庭作业几乎都是对的。
时间过得飞快，暑假快要结束了，我又要回到环山小学了。在新的学期里，我会更加努力，更加认真的，少点让爸爸、妈妈替我操心。同时，我真希望学校里的每位老师都像卓越英语的曾老师那样，让我们在快乐中学到知识。
