As an old saying goes，“ Learning is a daily experience and a lifetime mission”. Apparently，the meaning of this saying is that if we truly desire to learn something，we are supposed to devote our life to it.
There are several reasons accounting for this viewpoint. Firstly，learning itself is an actually complicated and painful matter，and as a result，it is advisable for us to commit much more time even our whole life to it. Additionally，it is exceedingly obvious that we are easy to forget what we learned，and accordingly，the significance of lifetime learning cannot be ignored. For example，memorizing vocabulary is commonly the first step of preparing for an English test.
To sum up，lifelong learning lays a solid foundation to the development of ourselves，and only when we realize the significance of lifetime learning can we understand the essence of learning.

Furthermore, according to a latest survey conducted by an authority on the Internet, 95 percent of people interviewed answered that individual happiness and success can not exist without life-long learning. In addition, an increasing number of people come to realize the value of persistent learning. A case in point is those aged citizens having been retried from work , who seek to learning Chinese drawing, calligraphy and Peking drama, so that their life after retirement can be meaningful, full of colors.
Taking into account the analysis above, we can safely draw a conclusion that where there is leaning , there is life-long happiness.

i laughed and enthusiastically responded, of course you may! and she gave me a giant squeeze.2
why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?3 i asked.
she jokingly replied, im here to meet a rich husband, get married, have a couple of children, and then retire and travel.
no seriously, i asked. i was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.
i always dreamed of having a college education and now im getting one ! she told me.
after class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake.4 we became instant friends. every day for the net three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. i was always mesmerized5 listening to this time machine6 as she shared her wisdom and eperience with me.
over the course of the school year, rose became a campus icon7 and easily made friends wherever she went. she loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students.8 she was living it up.9
at the end of the semester we invited rose to speak at our football banquet and ill never forget what she taught us. she was introduced and stepped up to the podium.10 as she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped her three-by-five cards11 on the floor. frustrated and a bit embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said, im sorry im so jittery.12 i gave up beer for lent and this whiskey is killing me!13 ill never get my speech back in order to let me just tell you what i know. as we laughed, she cleared her throat and began:
we do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing. there are only four secrets to staying young, being happy and achieving success.

For one reason, our society is developing at an amazing speed along with the improvement of science and technology. If people stop studying after graduation from university, they can not keep pace with the steps of social development and easy to be eliminated in the fierce competition. Take the IT as an example. The amount of information is increasing in a speed dozens of times faster than before. If a person does not learn the latest knowledge they would not be able to develop new technology and products. Therefore, a person should take a lifelong learning.
As the saying goes, “never too old to learn.” To keep up with the development of world, a person must study during his whole life. Otherwise, he will lag far behind the others.
