致辞和致词的侧重点和语言色彩有差别。

Good morning! It’s my great honor to give the speech here.
The Week of Psychological Education has just gone. We joyfully see the English festival begin. Its purpose is to enliven the campus atmosphere， to
enrich students’ spare time life， to arouse students’ interests， and to improve
students’ oral English， overall quality.
Now I declare 20xx English Festival is now open.
Nowadays we are living in an open society with globalized economy and cultures. China opens to the world and the world welcomes China. Thus a
harmonious globe will come into being. Love and enjoy this world， create
harmonious classes， schools and communities. So just like “Better City ，
Better Life”for Shanghai Expo， “Better English ， Better Life”，is the theme
for our English festival.
The English Festival begins on Dec 21st. And it will last 7 days. During the period， we will hold many meaningful activities， such as English singing contest， English speech contest， English Conversation contest and so on. In
this week I hope every student will take an active part in the activities and
contests mentioned above， display your own talents， and meanwhile， learn
something from others.
Finally， I wish you will enjoy yourselves during the festival. I also
